I am no expert on EJB, but it seems that there is a default timeout, when the @Schedule method is expected to finish - which seems quite short (i.e. mere minutes). Additionally - fra connection could be established successfully if I allowed more time. However, I have nowhere set this timeout of 5s. I just call the Connect method and it times out at some point.。
