Lattice structure means a structure made of strips which cross each other diagonally.Lattice structure Definition: A regular arrangement of the constituent particles (atom, ions or molecules) of a crystalline solid having similar environment in three dimensional space is called crystal lattice. 1} A position in the crystal lattice represents a lattice point. Bravais lattice each point in the space lattice represents an ion, an atom or a group of atoms.
2} the lattice points (all or some) in the crystal lattice are occupied by constituent particles like atoms, ions or molecules.
3} each point in the crystal lattice has identical surroundings throughout and a straight line passing through any two points should pass at equal intervals through a series of similar points.
4} The geometry of the crystal lattice can be obtained by joining the lattice points by lines.
